okay...so an update on my friend. i was told on friday that they would take the drain tube out on saturday and hopefully go home on sunday, if all went well with the removal. well...i gave them a day off of my hounding to see how things were going and today when i called i was told that she has pneumonia. so...she's on antibiotics now to clear that up. then hopefully, she'll be able to come home.
so tonight, pray for her recovery from pneumonia.
pray that she gets strong so that she may get home SOON to her kids.
pray that she gets good news from the cancer doctors as far as what treatments are to come.
and of course, pray for her family. pray for their faith. pray that they stay strong through this. they've done it before, they can do it. as my friend says, "i've beat cancer before, i'll just do it again." like a rock. a big, huge, giant rock. more like a BOULDER! pray for her family to be this way, too!
