14 hours and 22 minutes...

jordyn will be ONE! as i sit here typing this, i'm crying. i am fully aware that i should be, and am, very greatful that we have 3 healthy children. that we were able to conceive and have uneventful pregnancies. that we have both sexes. but now that i know it will never happen again (even though we know we were done anyway), it doesn't make it any easier that my baby is almost ONE!

tonight we celebrated a day premature because daddy has to work tomorrow night. so some friends (angie, steve and gabbie) and family (terri and tim) came over to celebrate. angie, steve and gabbie will be back for her real party on sunday, but terri, tim and rachel are traveling to watch hockey games and might not make it back in time. (and apparently i can't hope for a loss so that they would make it to her party either.)

we had a beautiful cake (awesome job by the bestest cake lady in all the whole wide world....or definitely at least the st. charles/st. louis county areas). jordyn knew exactly what to do with her cupcake...and that was NOT waste it by putting it in her hair. she scooped it up and shoved a big old bite right into her mouth. then knew enough to complain when all the icing was gone! way too smart for her own good.

her tea set that she got from terri and tim...it will be a family toy apparently as jacob offers a "spot of tea" to his brother and sister.

i believe i caught them in the act of chasing each other...but it looks like gabbie might be having a few choice words with jack (which is also likely)

hide and seek...steve was counting. apparently no one is very original once they walk through my front door!
