i know i posted this a day late...but we were so busy playing and running around yesterday, that by the time i got the kids in bed, it was too much of an effort to come back down the stairs!

jordyn had a good birthday. we all just played all day long. it was nice weather, so we played outside a LOT. she loves it outside. she gets mad at me when i put her in the car now, because she wants down to play. she's even really good about not crossing the sidewalk (unless there's something across the street she wants to get to). she LOVES scooters. i have to put her on the scooters and hold her hands on the handlebars and push her around on it. she LOVES LOVES LOVES it. i can't wait to get her her very own pink one someday! i got out a hand-me-down pink tricycle and she loved being pushed around on that, too. but she seems to want to figure out how it works, too. she kept climbing off and checking out the pedals.

at night i took all 3 kids to get an oil change in the van. i was about 1,500 miles late on it, so i figured since they were all in a good mood, i'd try. and they were AWESOME! i couldn't have been more proud. we ended the night with ELMO Grouchland in mommy and daddy's bed and jordyn was rocked to sleep...i certainly couldn't let her cry on her birthday!
