yet again jordyn has a double ear infection. she's been messing with her ear for a few days, and i wrote it off as teething. but last night i got to thinking about how her naps have been bad for a week and her nightime sleep has seemed shorter...so i called this morning and took her in to see dr. agolia at noon.
sure enough...i was worried about the right, but they are both infected. the tubes are still there, but her right one is not draining at all. he thinks there could be something blocking it from the inside. the left one is infected, but looks like it will drain just fine...it's just not doing it yet.
so...drops in both 2x a day and an oral antibiotic. cross your fingers that this does the trick!!! i don't want to go through the surgery again with her (i haven't even paid off the first one yet!).
