VBS...

so jacob started VBS yesterday (see yesterday's post). he went back to his 1st preschool he'd ever gone to. but today, when talking with our dear friend, she reminded me of her church's VBS. last night when i drove by it, it looked like a little more fun than where he had been last night. but after talking to her today, i offered jacob the choice of going back to the one he was at, or going to a different one where kyndal and landon were at. he chose kyndal and landon's church. and what a GREAT choice it was.

not only does it have a lot more to offer (while still not costing anything), but he has friends he already knows there. now...he's not too hip on the singing and dancing. i can't change that. but it seemed like he still paid attention to it. his leader, ms. kim, told me that he did great and added a lot to his group. so i'm really pleased with that, too. seriously...yesterday and today (like a couple weeks ago) i just see him so differently and i feel so much closer to him and i can actually FEEL the love between us. it seriously makes me feel like i can conquer all. i just can't explain it. thank you God for pointing me in the right direction with him. please continue to do so, as i'm sure that changes will have to be made along the way.

now...in addition to jacob attending VBS...jack got to stay, too! mr. mo asked jack if he wanted to stay and help with the games, and of course jack nodded yes. i was unsure if he would actually stay...but i guess i shouldn't be. my boys would go anywhere with anyone. and if it's someone they know, they'd run with them! but i think jack has taken a particular liking to mr. mo.

so...jack went to school for the very first time. it was kind of sad. especially since i didn't bring a camera. i watched from the back for a while, and he was doing just fine. he hung out next to landon for as long as i was there. and jacob was in kyndal's group. so they each has someone they knew.

my boys are getting so big. and jacob was so proud to say that "jack got to stay, too!"

then there's jordyn...she's almost never been without at least one brother. there's the occasional shopping trip and such, but 2 hours with no bubby(s). i went over to AUNT TERRI'S house. she just didn't know what to do with FULL attention from mom, AUNT TERRI and uncle tim. she was GIDDY with excitement!

so...a good time was had by all this evening. even daddy got some much needed peace while at the house. not a normal thing when he's home. while he did miss his babies...a little quiet while in your own home is a great feeling!

PS-thanks jackie for recommending we go to your church for VBS. wish i would have remembered and started them there last night!!!
