prayer updates...

okay...some prayer requests/updates...

prayers please for my sister. you may better know her as AUNT TERRI. i'm going to do my best to get this all correct. so bear with me. a short while back they found a mass on her pancreas while they were looking for gallstones. they did determine that her gallbladder needs to come out, but wanted to hold off until they determined what this "mass" was. then they decided it was too dense to be a "mass." which was good news, but still wanted to know what "it" was. today she had an endoscopy done and they determined that it was indeed a "mass". the doctor feels very good that it's not cancerous (THANK YOU GOD), but that it will need to come out. they are waiting biopsy results. whatever this is, it has not spread (YEAH). regardless, it sounds like they will be removing a portion of the pancreas with the mass and part of her small bowel (guess we're alike in some ways, huh?). at the same time, her gallbladder will come out.

so....pray for clear biopsy results and pray for her peace and sanity (and her husband's) through this waiting process.


next....i have a neighbor who is pregnant with twins. she is right at about 29 weeks and was told last week that there was nothing else they could do for her to keep them in. if she went into labor, they wouldn't stop it now. well...tonight, she's in labor. the babies are weighing in at about 3+lbs, so that's good. but the bad news is, the babies will be transported to chidren's while she will recover from a c-section at her hospital.

so...pray for a safe and healthy delivery of the babies.
......pray for healthy and strong babies upon arrival.
......pray for her sanity as they take the babies to childrens.
......pray for her recovery to be as quick as possible so that she can rejoin the children.



and last for tonight....
my friend that i've been updating you about with breast cancer is doing well. our prayers are working. keep them coming though! i talked with her a while this evening and she's in great spirits, but she always puts on a good front.

so...pray to keep her spirits up and strong
......pray to keep her health going in the right direction...HEALTHY AND HEALED!
......pray for her family, that they may also stay strong in this fight.
