checking in...

i typed this all out earlier this week...then it didn't post. i will try to post some other stuff later on this weekend. i have lots of 'cute' things to post. but this one is definitely more serious, than 'cute'.

so i haven't been on in a while, huh? well, it's because there's been a lot going on emotionally and i don't know quite how to put it online. so here's the best i can do.
AUNT TERRI will be having surgery in the near future to remove a tumor (GIST). there's a small chance it could be a more minor procedure, but it's not likely. without going into all the details (because i just figured it all out a little better when i was able to go over to her house without kids the other day), it is cancer (i really hate that word). but, they caught it early, it seems, as a result of some gallbladder attacks. had it not been for those, she is having NO symptoms of this type of cancer. they accidentally found it on a scan.
so please keep her, and her family, in your prayers while we all get through this. i will keep you updated as to when the surgery is, and updated as well as possible through her recovery so that you can know your prayers are working.


my "cake lady" friend, who has cancer....well i just found out, kind of by accident, that it is stage IV lung cancer. all her treatments are oral, i believe. but she's having a rough time lately. i really miss our walks and our talks! please pray pray pray that she can beat this!!! she is such an inspiration to me and has truly made me a better person. but since i'm lacking my time with her lately, i'm slipping back into that mean ol' nasty witch i've always been (hehehehe).

Dear God, these are two people that i care deeply about and am worrying on a constant basis for. please let them both pull through their surgery/treatment and continue to live full, happy and healthy lives! they both have so much more to teach me, much less other people they are with. i need them with me!!!
