that's a whole lot of stuff. almost all worthy of their own posts!!!
basically...she's been REALLY cranky since last Tuesday (horribly cranky!). she'd had a runny nose for almost a week and a half, but was getting crankier. mommy knows best...there was definitely something not quite right. so i took her to the pediatric urgent care thursday night. (side note: with 2 layers of clothes on and i believe a wet diaper, she weighed 16lb 8oz). sure enough, left ear is infected. started her on medicine that night and the next morning she was back to her old self. played independently ALL day. only came to me to eat...and wasn't even crabby then!!! she sat still for diaper changes (mostly) and has been fabulous overall since then!!!
while at the urgent care, i was playing with her in the waiting room (where she was smiling, waving and laughing for everyone), and noticed that her next top right tooth is on it's way in. you still can't feel it...but you can see it poking through. so that is of course adding to crabbiness.
then...last night....well, let's back up...a couple weeks ago, she stood up on her own for about 10 seconds. she was leaning on my legs and then stood up straight. AUNT TERRI and uncle tim were witnesses to this great event. it really hasn't happened since. but you could tell she was getting gutsier. then last night she was standing up all over the place, and for lengthy periods. at one point, i looked up and she was in the middle of the floor standing. how the heck did she get that way with nothing to hold on to? of course, when daddy got home, she wouldn't show off for him. but today, while i was gone, she was majorly showing off for him. of course, i have yet to get any evidence of this...so you'll just have to take my word for it!
today we got all 3 children fingerprinted, pictures taken, dna swabbed and teeth impressions (jacob only on the teeth). the mason group (?) was doing this for free with CHIP down at Ronnie's cinema. so we headed south for the event. then we headed over to Subway for lunch (angie...subway is where club 747 used to be. and while we were there, "can't touch this" came on their radio...). just wanted to have this in writing...we'll never take all 3 children to breakfast/lunch/dinner again without at least 2 other adults. yes i know this would make it 4 to 3...but that's what you need. never. just, never!

Ahh those were the days. Did you tear up while eating at Subway thinking of all of the good times?
