jacob's christmas program...

here are some pics from his christmas program last night. the performance was AWESOME! i must have taken a million pictures, and a couple videos of them singing. thank goodness for digital cameras! we recorded the whole performance as well (thank you uncle tim). and a special thanks to aunt terri for taking care of jordyn so that i could take pictures (jordyn was unhappy that i wasn't holding her). and another bit of thanks to christeen for watching jack so that i wasn't chasing him around also! i don't know what i'd do without family!





some funny stories from the performance:

• at one point (between songs when all the auditorium was quiet) jacob was calling out for me. all you could hear was, "MOM!?!?!?!"
• he told me later that he was also pointing to himself so that i would know it was him.
• terri was standing off to the side holding jordyn and he kept waving to her
• at the end of "Joy to the World" jacob kept singing (hopefully the video will be able to be posted)
• there was a boy on the complete other side of jacob who just kept swinging his tassels back and forth, nearly the whole time
• there was a poem with several of the children reciting bits of it, and at one point in preparation for the start of it, a little boy was antogonizing the first little girl and she kept telling him to "stop it"...right into the microphone
• the little boy next to jacob was VERY animated in his dancing. i think he has a future in the performing arts
• apparently there was a child picking his nose on the TV monitor as well
