this time 2 years ago i was probably holding you in my arms falling more and more in love with you as the night went on. to think...i was scared that i wouldn't be able to love you as much as jacob. hmmm....the second you came out, i knew that was a NON-issue!

today at the doctor's office the doc said, "this one will be a handful." i said, "WILL BE?" i already can't keep tabs on him (then i told him the juice box story). even he was impressed...and do you know how many kids he sees in any given day?
it was a special day today for us all. you got to blow out candles on your breakfast cinnamon rolls then we had mcd's monday with aunt terri AND uncle tim. cousin rachel and chris made it, and because it was your birthday, daddy took the whole day off work.
after that we had your 2 year check up, and though you didn't like the shots, you certainly thought your taz bandaid was really cool! you only cried momentarily. i was so proud of you.
then we had home made pasta con broccoli (thanks aunt terri) for dinner, and an ice creme elmo cake!!!! cool elmo balloons and our friends (angie, steve, gabbie, terri, tim, rachel, chris, tommy, hunter) were here to celebrate your real birthday. but...alas...we'll do it all again come this saturday!!
we love you big guy! thanks for being you!!!! you impress me every day and i am already so proud of you!
