we have tubes...

our tubes were put in today without any problems. she was a perfect little girl for everyone this AM (even after the horrible night last night). she didn't fuss at all on the way there (which took forever because of traffic - we were 40 minutes late). she wasn't happy about the stethoscope or the nurse looking in her ears, but it wasn't horrible. she was out walking around and checking out the scale just before the nurse scooped her away from us. she cried and reached for me as they took her away, but overall did well i think.

she was only out of our site for 25 minutes. and when we were told we could go back, she was SCREAMING!!! we could hear her around a corner and down the hall. so the aid taking us to her said to "run...well, not really run, but move fast!"

so i paced with her screaming for about 15 minutes before we could get her changed back into jammies and sent home. she was better when we were almost out the door to the hospital...but then i turned around with her so daddy could go get the car, and that made her unhappy. but once she was in the car, she ended up falling asleep while i rubbed her head.

since we've been home, she's been completely normal. if i dare say it...she's happier. she's taken 1 nap and i put her down awake and she didn't fuss at all. she's been playing and having fun the rest of the time!
