i know i haven't updated on my friend in a while. but here's what i know to be true.
she is going in for further testing thursday and friday. the pneumonia is still there and she's still in considerable pain because of that and the cancer.
the cancer is in her lungs, outside of her lungs, and in the lining.
she can't get a good night's sleep because she can't get comfortable.
i keep catching her on good days though because she has showered, done her hair and makeup and looks great. it's hard for me to believe she doesn't feel well.
if i have my info correct, she will begin cancer treatments next week.
please pray that the cancer treatments work and she beats it AGAIN!
then pray that it stays away forever. she, and her family, have gone through enough to last everyone's lifetimes.
pray for continued strength for her and her family.
pray that they will ask for help when they need it. they have a ton of family and friends, but they are very independent and not good at asking for help. so many people want to help...let them ask.
one of my important prayers for tonight, a prayer of thanks....thank you God, for bringing her into my life. i have a wonderful friend in her and i miss talking to her all the time! (she might not think it's such a bad thing...to not talk to me every day!)
just continue your prayers for her and her family please! and thanks!
