okay...i'd like to apologize because i haven't been as diligent in updating as much. it's been a rough last 2 weeks. jack has decided that he's going to get out of bed on his own as soon as he wakes up....5:00am-5:30am every day. he will crawl into bed with us, but NOT go back to sleep. so needless to say, i'm exhausted! and he typically wakes up jordyn when he does this (because he closes his bedroom door and it's loud when he does it). so...i put a washcloth over the top of his door, so it's not loud anymore, and put a louder air purifier in jordyn's room...so now she's sleeping in until 6-7am.
jack has taken a turn for the worse...he's quite a little meanie now. still that same sweet innocent face...but not the inside. he'll still cuddle on you. he'll still kiss you. he'll still say, "love you more"...but he pushes his sister for no reason, yells at people for no reason, screams "that's not yours" about everything....wow...what no sleep does to my 2 year old!!!
the good news is...jack slept in today! he slept until 6:30!!! my child who used to stay in bed until 8:30-9am...it's so sad. hopefully we'll get back to normal soon!
jacob, the other night, was playing with his new Ben10 alien toys and couldn't think of a game to play with them...so he said, "i think something is wrong with my brain....i can't think of a game to play." he's so intuitive. i can't believe he's only 4 (and a half).
have i mentioned that we registered him for kindergarten? i'm so sad...and glad. i'm really starting to think i need him in full-day. but i just don't see the point since i'm home. if i was working, or in school, i'd have no question. we'll see how the summer goes...i might send him away to boarding kindergarten! (just kidding...i love you jacob and would miss you too much if you were gone more than a few hours). i have another funny jacob story...but i have to get the pics off of my camera for that one. it just isn't the same without the pictures. so look for that (hopefully later today).
miss jordyn is taking her first few steps. she has been taking 1 (sometimes 2 steps) then stopping, dropping (on purpose) and crawling the rest. it's just quicker. but this morning she walked from our coffee table to the couch (4 steps) and did really well. though another time she just turned from the coffee table and did a belly flop right onto the floor (she was hoping to land at the couch i think). it was quite funny...because she didn't cry.
i can't think of what else i may have missed in the last week or so...if i think of anything else...i'll log back on!

Okay GAbbie must have heard Jack was getting up early and decided she wanted to join him. This is 2 days in a row now with her waking between 5:00-5:30. Are we sure they are not calling each other on the phone and talking???
