exciting day...

yesterday was an exciting day for jacob and jack (sorry jordyn).

jack and i went to see disney playhouse live at the family arena. this was his first time doing anything like this. jacob didn't want to go (it's not superheros), plus he had a birthday party to go to later.

jack and i made it to the arena just in time. we had the highest up seats imaginable, but they were still good. he had to have a little einsteins baton that has a light at the end of it. it's really cute. he played with it almost the whole show, but he did a great job of watching the show, too. he wouldn't get "involved" with it like they were trying to get kids to do....except when it came to saying mickey mouse's magic words, "meeska mouska mickey mouse!" he did that one every time. i think he was just in amazement. then when it was all over and the lights came on, i took a picture of him and he said, "one more time." he said he wanted to see mickey one more time!

there were a lot of crying and sleeping kids by the time the show ended (we went to the noon show). so lots of naptimes were being missed.

we had to go pick jordyn up at terri's house then we all headed home to take naps. and for the first time, jack slept in my bed with me while we napped. it was a great end to a great afternoon.

daddy and jacob went to major's birthday party. they had lots of fun playing games (mostly skeeball, apparently) and collecting tickets. jacob chose to turn in his tickets for some army men (like on toy story). then on the way home he was reciting lines from toy story. he did it for me when he came home, too. he said he had lots of fun at the party and wants to go back again someday. i forget the name of the place, but it's like a chuckee cheese. of course i don't have pictures of his fun (because i took our camera with me).
