Mid-County...glad you could make it out today...Matt Stricklin turned 40 while we were in the academy. That man has every certificate and license known to man. Wonder what's next on his list. (top left)
Kevin Stewart...what to say...he never wore the right uniform, he always put his backpack behind the easel, he borrowed $.25 constantly....but we love him anyway! (bottom right)

okay...well my 11 weeks of school is over. i have passed ALL the tests and am now a Firefighter I & II, Hazmat Awareness and Ops certified. now....where's all the people that will want to hire me??????

it was a long, but SUPER fun 11 weeks. i already miss it. i graduate this wednesday and can't wait to see them all again. i feel a void in my life. it's hard to readjust to being mommy again...but i think i'm getting the hang of it!

i did some really exciting things in school. tore up cars, literally cut a car in half!!! we put out car fires, flammable liquid fires, search and rescue with press'n'seal on our face pieces and lights out, carried a 185lb dummy down a ladder, and climbed a 110' aeriel ladder (twice)!!! who'd of thought i would have made it! NOT ME! but i did and it was awesome! i can not wait to get a job!!!!!

but now i'm back to real life, until i get a job. i will try to resume my postings. i had lots of pictures that i've taken that i wanted to go back and post, but my external hard drive with ALL of my pictures has crashed. i'm devestated about this because i might have to send it off to a clean room to retreive the data. that will cost at least $1000. but, it's ALL of my kids pictures since birth. i thought i was doing the right thing by putting them on the external hard drive (since our desktop stinks)...but apparently it's not the right thing!

anyway, i'm limited on the pics that i have, but am taking new pics every day! so check back!!!
