so i'm at school a few nights ago and i get a call from home. now...jeff knows that i'm in class and he can't call me. so it must be important, right?

jacob put a penny in his mouth, then accidentally swallowed it.
i checked with a couple of my paramedic instructors, and just as i thought, it's not a big deal as long as he's breathing and acting alright, then it is probably already down his pipe completely. he'll pass it in a couple/few days.
so...am i supposed to "find" it to be sure? i'll wait until tomorrow to call the doctor's office.
just so everyone knows...you don't have to "find" it. as long as he has no stomach upset, no vomiting, etc, then it did, or will, pass on its own. we're 3 days out now, and no signs of pain or discomfort...so i'm thinking it came out. but we'll never know for sure!!!!

Well, that's good info. to know! It seems that my youngest just likes to put things up her nose (for now). And thankfully it was only part of a Kleenex.
Darn kids! Parental heart attacks waiting to happen!
