landon (ms. jacki) brought donuts for everyone this morning. then she gave us money for lunch, so we had mcdonald's (which was good because we missed it yesterday).
then we had some good naps and the fun began!!!
angie, gabbie, AUNT TERRI and uncle time came over to have cake and open a few presents.

on to presents: here's the card that mommy and daddy got for him. it plays the batman theme song. it's so cool. he's sleeping with it tonight to keep him "safe".

gabbie was here...even though she didn't join the festivities of present opening...she enjoyed a little handy manny (it might be wrapped up under her tree this christmas)

THE CAKE SUCKED!!!!!
as mommy was cutting up the cake, she licked her fingers (AFTER she was done with everyone's slices, of course) she noticed that the cake tasted like "oil". wonder why? she swears she used the right amount (though we all doubt her). so....AUNT TERRI took a bite and sure enough...it tasted like OIL! angie happened to notice that the oil (pictured below) expired in june of 2007. so it is slightly old. it's older than jordyn, as a matter of fact. but...the icing was good! butter creme icing...yum yum. thank goodness that miss stephanie is banking the REAL cake on sunday!!!
it was a good night, with good friends...and awesome presents! thank you everybody!

Too funny to think the cake expired before Jordyn was born:) It was horrible. The icing was sure good though!
