pumpkin patch 2009

we went to the pumpkin patch last wednesday and what a beautiful day it was! perfect weather. since it was during the week, there was virtually no one there. jacob played in the hay bale maze for a LONG time while jordyn and jack went and visited the animals. they had something new this year, boxes filled with corn kernels that the kids could play in (like sand). though somehow someone thought it'd be fun to start a fight with them and start dumping them on each other. that may have been chris and rachel. we played in there for a long time. there were also little pedaled tractors that the kids (and chris and rachel) could play on. what i missed most this year was the train city exhibit. i guess it's only open on the weekends. i love walking through that exhibit, it reminds me of my dad and the basement where i grew up.
of course there were tire swings, slides and tractor ride (which i got on this year). it was an awesome time!!! lots of fun was had. thank you AUNT TERRI, uncle tim, cousin rachel and chris for coming with us!
