soccer time again!!!

it's that time of year again!  jacob has started soccer!!!

we began with a tournament these last few days.  and while we didn't win any games, we played REALLY hard.  especially today's game.  they were GREAT!  final score 0-1. 

last night jacob played goalie and did an AWESOME job.  everyone told him so at the end of the game.  the final score was something like 1-10 and jacob had only let 2 of those goals by him.  he was all over the place!!!  he found his calling!  who would have ever thought that his position would be one that required him to essentially stay in one place?

at today's game he was literally about 2" from getting his first goal.  it was stopped just shy of the goal line.  i was so sad for him.  but he didn't care.  he was super proud of himself...as he should be!  it was over 100 degrees with the heat index outside and they played fabulously!!!  proud of you crusaders!
