well...it was my first day alone with my kids again! it feels like life is starting to return to normal. which is a good thing. i need some normalcy (sp?). it was great having my hubby here to take care of us all. and he did an awesome job! not that i doubted him for a second;)
it was rough this morning though, getting everyone ready and getting jack out of his bed and downstairs. the kids did okay without daddy today, but after nap time jack was really missing him. it's been daddy who has gotten him out of bed 99.9% of the time for the last 4 weeks. so he was crying for daddy when i went to get him. i felt so bad for the poor kid. but alas...daddy came home and was greated with a HUGE reception of "DADDY!!!!!" not that he didn't feel loved every day that he comes home from work, but i bet today was especially so.
i just have to say that it was great having daddy home for 4 weeks. i needed it (not just because of surgery), and i know the kids loved it! we all missed daddy!
